The Guinea Pig Guides The Quest

Sam 1:04

One day, a little boy named Skylar was sitting in his front yard. Now, he had been watching the clouds as they floated over the top of his head. It was very fun to watch the clouds. They were always making very interesting shapes. But as he was laying, watching and listening, he heard a voice off in the distance.

Bomfree 1:25

I am Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree. What was that? Oh, turn this way? Okay, here we go. Mm, Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree.

Sam 1:30

He wondered where the noise was coming from, until over the top of his fence, he could see a wizard's hat that was bouncing along. He raced over to the fence to see what was going on, and as he looked over, on the other side of the fence was a wizard carrying a guinea pig.

Skylar 1:45

Um, hello,

Sam 1:46

said Skylar.

Bomfree 1:47

Oh, Bomfree!

Sam 1:48

said Bomfree.

Um, who are you?

I am Bomfree,

Bomfree lifted the guinea pig up to his ears. And then he turned to Skylar. He says, yes, he can Bomfree talk, and he is in control of Bomfree because Bomfree doesn't know what to do today, and so the guinea pig is in control, and he said, you should not say such things about guinea pigs.

called out his mum.

called Skylar. Then- Pfft! back in Bomfree's hand appeared the guinea pig.

Ho-ho, well done, guinea pig, I am Bomfree.

Sam 3:22

Bomfree lifted the guinea pig up to his ear once more.

Hmm, yes, good idea. Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree.

What did he say?

said Skylar.

He said, let's go! Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree.

With that, Bomfree started walking off down the road, bouncing as he walked. Skylar didn't really know what to do, but he decided to follow.

said Bomfree. As they walked, Bomfree would lift the guinea pig up to his ear at different stages, seeming to listen to something that it had to say. And then they might change direction or turn sideways, or sometimes they even walked straight through the middle of people's houses.

I am Bomfree! Hello, Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree. The people inside were very confused.

Skylar 4:34

Uh, sorry,

said Skylar.

Skylar 4:36

We're just following the guinea pig?

Sam 4:37

he said. The people were extremely confused. But it was okay, coz Bomfree and Skylar and the guinea pig would then walk out the back door and continue onwards.

Bomfree 4:45

Bomfree, Bomfree, I am Bomfree. Stop!

Sam 4:48

said Bomfree. Skylar quickly stopped right behind Bomfree. Then Bomfree held the guinea pig up to his ear.

Oh-ho, yes, Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree. Good idea, guinea pig, Bomfree, Bomfree.

What did he say?

Sam 4:59

said Skylar.

Bomfree 5:00

He said we should do some Bomfree magic. Hooray!

Bomfree pulled a wand out of his robe. Then he threw it straight to Skylar.

said Skylar.

It's easy, coz I don't know either. I just wave the wand and yell things and things happen. Hooray!

said Skylar. He held up the wand and he waved it.

he said. PCHEWWWWWWWWWWWWW! A tree right next to them exploded into tiny little pieces that then started to sparkle through the air.

said Skylar.

Bomfree lifted the guinea pig up to his ear.

Pineapple TV And Party Chaos

Never mind, on we go. Bomfree!

said Bomfree. And he started to walk once more. This time he popped the guinea pig on the edge of his hat. The guinea pig was running circles around his wizard's hat as Bomfree continued to walk.

Bomfree 6:10

I am Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree,

said Bomfree. So Skylar continued to walk, following Bomfree in the Bomfree manner, singing the Bomfree song, very confused why he was actually choosing to follow a guinea pig. But it seemed to be fun, so on they went. As they went through a few more houses, passed a few more very confused people, and continued on their confusing way, Bomfree again stopped very, very suddenly. This time they were in the middle of someone's house. The people were looking at him very, very confused.

Bomfree 6:39

Hello, I am Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree, and this is guinea pig, and... I've forgotten your name. I will call you other Bomfree.

Skylar 6:45

My name's not Bomfree, my name's Skylar!

Sam 6:47

said Skylar.

Bomfree 6:48

Um, I'm not sure that's a good idea,

said the man inside the house, who was currently trying to watch TV.

Bomfree 7:08

Oh yes, it is very good idea. Ah, yes, Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree. Ready. One, two, three, Bomfree!

Sam 7:13

Bomfree held up his wand and- Bl-l-l-l-lup! the TV turned into a pineapple. But the pineapple still had a TV on the front, and it also had some eyes and arms, and then it started talking.

Pineapple 7:24

Oh, I don't like this show. Can we put on a different one?

Man 7:26

Uh, what?

Sam 7:27

said the man who was now watching a pineapple instead of a TV.

Pineapple 7:30

Yeah, like this one over here.

Sam 7:31

The pineapple twisted one of the top bits on its head, and then the channel changed.

Bomfree 7:35

Ha ha, Bomfree! Alright, your turn, Skylar.

Skylar 7:38

Aw, I don't want to ruin their house,

Sam 7:39

said Skylar.

Bomfree 7:40

Don't worry, it's Bomfree magic. Hooray!

Skylar 7:43

Uh, okay.

Sam 7:43

Bomfree threw the wand across to Skylar. Skylar caught it and started to wave it.

Skylar 7:48

I'm sorry about this. Uh, one, two, three, Bomfree?

Sam 7:52

he said quite nervously. This time, magic burst out of the top of the wand. It swirled around the air like some kind of ribbon. As it flew around the house, it seemed to be almost looking for something until it flew into the kitchen. Skylar and Bomfree and the guinea pig chased it. And when it was inside the kitchen, it then flew inside the oven, and then- Pffft! the oven exploded pink inside.

Skylar 8:12

Uh-oh,

Sam 8:13

said Skylar.

Bomfree 8:14

Oh, Bomfree!

Sam 8:15

Then the oven door opened once more, and all of a sudden, a whole bunch of food started coming out. It was all kinds of party food. There was lollies and cakes and pies and chips. It was amazing. Then all the party decorations started coming out. Streamers and confetti and balloons. It was ridiculous. In no time at all, the whole house looked like it had been completely set up, ready for a party.

Bomfree 8:35

Bomfree party time!

Sam 8:36

said Bomfree.

Bomfree 8:37

Hooray! Join in, people! It is a Bomfree party inside your house! And we can have the pineapple dancing TV!

The Vanishing Guinea Pig Trick

Sam 8:43

The people were so confused they didn't know what to do. The guinea pig on Bomfree's hat started to do a dance. It was very good at dancing. It could shuffle and it could even do the worm.

Skylar 8:52

Hey, I can do the worm,

Sam 8:53

said Skylar. He got down on the ground and started doing it as well.

Bomfree 8:56

Hooray, Bomfree! Do the worm, do the worm, Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree,

Sam 9:00

said Bomfree. The people in the house didn't really know what to do, but it all looked like so much fun, they decided to join in. The house turned into a crazy fun party. Dancing, singing, and eating lots of yummy party food.

Bomfree 9:12

Alright, continue on, Bomfree, here we go. Ah, should we continue on?

Sam 9:16

he said. Bomfree realised that it was not meant to be him that was controlling the adventure. He held the guinea pig up to his ear.

Bomfree 9:22

Oh, he says no.

Skylar 9:23

Really?

Sam 9:24

said Skylar.

Skylar 9:24

What are we meant to do?

Sam 9:25

He held the guinea pig up to his ear one more time.

Bomfree 9:28

He says we can go... now. Okay, urrr, here we go.

Sam 9:31

And they continued out the door.

Bomfree 9:32

Goodbye, enjoy the party, Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree,

Sam 9:35

said Bomfree. Skylar laughed and giggled as he walked out.

Skylar 9:38

This is a lot of fun,

Bomfree 9:40

Okay, let me check what the guinea pig wants to do... Guinea pig? Guinea pig!

Sam 9:46

All of a sudden, Bomfree was looking around.

Bomfree 9:48

I've lost him! Where is the guinea pig? What do we do? We can't know what to do without the guinea pig.

Skylar 9:53

Um, did we leave him inside the party?

said Skylar.

Bomfree 9:56

Let's go look.

Bomfree and Skylar went back inside the party. They looked everywhere, but no guinea pig. They walked back outside, still no guinea pig.

Oh dear, I don't know what to do without the guinea pig.

All of a sudden, Bomfree started to laugh.

Oh-ho! Hiya, hey! Ho! Oh! Ee! Hey, that tickles!

What tickles?

said Skylar.

Giant Wizard, Giant Guinea Pig

Bomfree 10:14

M-my head is tickling! Oh, it's so ticklish! Oh, oh dear, oh-ho, hee-hoo!

As he giggled, Skylar started to notice something.

Skylar 10:21

Hey, Bomfree, your hat's moving!

Bomfree 10:23

Oh!

Sam 10:24

said Bomfree. He grabbed his hat and pulled it off. And there, sitting on his head, with a very cheeky look on his face, was the guinea pig.

Bomfree 10:30

Oh, guinea pig! You tricked us! Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree! Oh-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho!

Sam 10:34

Bomfree laughed as he lifted the guinea pig down and lifted it to his ear.

Bomfree 10:38

Oh, okay. Um, Skylar?

Sam 10:41

he said.

Skylar 10:41

Y-yes?

Sam 10:42

said Skylar. And Bomfree threw the guinea pig across to him.

Skylar 10:45

Don't throw guinea pig-! Hang on, is that guinea pig flying?

Bomfree 10:49

Of course he's flying. All guinea pigs can fly.

Skylar 10:52

No, they can't,

Sam 10:53

said Skylar.

Bomfree 10:54

Oh, well this Bomfree guinea pig can fly.

Skylar 10:57

Oh, o-o-okay.

Sam 10:58

It flew across and it landed on Skylar's shoulder. Then it started to whisper in his ear.

Skylar 11:04

I can hear him!

Sam 11:05

said Skylar.

Bomfree 11:06

Of course you can. He's talking right in your ear. He just likes to talk quiet.

Sam 11:10

Skylar listened very carefully.

Um, are you sure, guinea pig?

Sam 11:14

The guinea pig nodded.

Skylar 11:15

Uh, Bomfree, can I borrow your wand for a second?

Bomfree 11:18

Of course, Bomfree, Bomfree. If guinea pig says, then guinea pig gets. Here you go.

Sam 11:22

Bomfree threw the wand across to Skylar. He caught it once more. Then he pointed the wand towards Bomfree.

Bomfree 11:27

Bomfree?

Ride Home And Goodbyes

Sam 11:28

said Bomfree, very confused.

Skylar 11:30

I am Bomfree!

Sam 11:32

said Skylar, as he waved the wand directly at him. A giant burst of magic burst out.

Bomfree 11:37

Bomfree!

Sam 11:38

said Bomfree, as the magic hit him right in the tummy. Then he got bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger, until there was a giant Bomfree standing in the backyard.

Bomfree 11:47

I am Bomfree!

Sam 11:49

said Bomfree, very, very happy. Then the guinea pig whispered in Skylar's ear once more, then jumped off his shoulder. Skylar pointed the wand at the guinea pig.

Skylar 11:57

I am Bomfree!

Sam 11:58

he said, and waved the wand at the guinea pig. The guinea pig got bigger and bigger and bigger until he was bigger than a car, he was bigger than the houses, and he was walking down the middle of the street. It looked very silly. A giant wizard and a giant guinea pig walking down the middle of the street. Because the guinea pig was so big now, they could all hear his voice. He turned to Skylar and he said,

Your turn.

Skylar 12:22

My turn?

Sam 12:22

said Skylar.

Skylar 12:23

O-okay.

Sam 12:24

He pointed the wand towards himself.

Skylar 12:26

I am Bomfree?

Sam 12:28

he said a little nervously. Pshew! With that, he got bigger and bigger and bigger too.

Skylar 12:33

Um, guinea pig, why have you made us all so big?

Guinea Pig 12:37

So we can get home faster. Jump on.

Skylar 12:42

What?

Sam 12:43

said Skylar.

Bomfree 12:44

Hooray!

said Bomfree, as he jumped on the back of the guinea pig. Skylar laughed and did the same, and the guinea pig walked them all the way back home. When they stopped outside Skylar's house, they climbed off the guinea pig. Then the guinea pig grabbed Bomfree's wand in his mouth and waved it towards Bomfree and Skylar.

Guinea Pig 13:01

Hi ham Homfree!

Sam 13:02

it said, with the wand in its mouth. Pfft! With that magic burst, Bomfree and Skylar went back to their normal size. Bomfree picked up the wand and waved it back at the guinea pig. Pshew! They were all back small, or not so small, just normal again.

Bomfree 13:16

Well, Bomfree has had a wonderful Bomfree adventure, but now-

Sam 13:20

The guinea pig whispered in his ear.

Bomfree 13:21

Hmm, yes, I agree. Time for us to go home. Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, Bomfree, Bomfree, Bomfree.

Sam 13:26

The guinea pig stood up and waved. Skylar waved to guinea pig and to Bomfree as he turned and went back towards his house. As he walked in the door, his mum was there waiting.

Mum 13:35

Um, how was your adventure with the guinea pig?

Skylar 13:38

Well,

Sam 13:38

said Skylar,

Skylar 13:40

I don't think you'd believe me, even if I told you.

Sam 13:42
