One day, a little boy named Sebastian was very, very excited because he had an extra special snack. The snack that he had was a cupcake. But not just any old cupcake. Probably the most amazing-looking cupcake he had ever seen. He was looking at it very, very carefully and preparing to eat. As he was about to take his first bite, he heard a voice.

Thingy Whopper 1:30

Don't eat that!

Sam 1:32

He looked around to see who was talking. He couldn't see anybody nearby, but he decided he would continue to eat. So, as he went to bite again-

Thingy Whopper 1:40

Ah! No! No, don't eat it!

Sam 1:44

He looked around, and he saw, first of all, a very long arm coming out behind a wall.

Sebastian 1:51

What is going on?

Sam 1:52

he thought. Then he saw a very, very long leg step out from behind the wall. Then the rest of a very long-armed, long-legged man stepped out and looked at him.

Thingy Whopper 2:03

That is the most amazing cupcake I have ever seen in my whole life. Do not eat it!

Sebastian 2:11

said Sebastian,

if I don't eat it, then why bother even having it?

Thingy Whopper 2:16

No, we will eat it, but before we do, I think we need to replicate it into lots more cupcakes because it is too amazing just to have only one of.

I am Thingy Whopper. And my specialty is cupcakes. Cupcakes are my favourite thing in the whole entire world, and I have eaten pretty much every single style of cupcake that was ever invented. But I have never eaten a cupcake that looks as good as that one. So I will be eating that.

said Sebastian.

Sebastian 2:56

It's my cupcake.

Thingy Whopper 2:58

Well, no, I won't be eating that exact one. I'll make sure that you get a cupcake too, but I definitely need to try it, and a little bit of a cupcake that is that amazing will not be enough of a cupcake, so we need to make sure that we can replicate it, and I know how.

Sebastian 3:12

Well, how?

Sam 3:13

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 3:14

Well, there is a friend of mine who makes amazing inventions, and I'm pretty sure I saw something in his workshop that would help us be able to replicate this cupcake into lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of cupcakes.

Sneaking Into Bonigo’s Workshop

Sebastian 3:27

Um, o-okay, Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 3:30

So, you must come with me. Hang on.

Sam 3:32

Thingy Whopper turned around to look for Sebastian's parents.

Thingy Whopper 3:35

Ah, excuse me! I'm borrowing the Sebastian to go make more cupcakes.

Mum 3:40

Okay!

Sam 3:40

came a voice from the other room.

Thingy Whopper 3:42

Let us go!

Sam 3:44

said Thingy Whopper, grabbing Sebastian by the hand and starting to run out of the room.

We forgot the cupcake!

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 3:50

Oh dear,

said Thingy Whopper, reaching his very long arm back inside the room and grabbing the cupcake off the plate. Once they were outside, Sebastian was looking around.

Well, how do we get to this workshop?

Thingy Whopper 4:01

said Thingy Whopper, as he started to run down the street. Sebastian couldn't keep up because Thingy Whopper's arms and legs were so long it made him extra super-duper fast.

Thingy Whopper 4:11

Oh, uh, hang on!

Sam 4:13

said Thingy Whopper as he ran back. He grabbed hold of Sebastian by the hand, lifted him up onto his back like a piggyback, and started to run.

Thingy Whopper 4:20

Here we go! Hooraaaaaaay!

Trapped In The Buzzing Room

Sam 4:23

yelled Thingy Whopper as he started running off down the street. In no time at all, they reached the front of a very strange-looking building.

Sebastian 4:31

What is this?

Sam 4:32

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 4:33

Well,

Sam 4:34

said Thingy Whopper,

Thingy Whopper 4:35

this is Bonigo's workshop. It is very special and very important, and we need to be very, very sneaky.

Sebastian 4:42

Why do we need to be sneaky?

Sam 4:44

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 4:45

Because I haven't technically asked him if we can borrow the replicator, but I'm- I'm sure if we at least leave him one cupcake, he will be completely fine with it.

Sebastian 4:54

Um, are you sure?

Sam 4:55

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 4:56

Definitely!

Sam 4:57

said Thingy Whopper.

Thingy Whopper 4:58

When it comes to cupcakes, Thingy Whopper knows best. Alright, come on, let's go!

So, they walked around through the side of the building and into a giant room. In the first room it looked very, very strange. They could see all these kind of weird sparkly things that seemed to be making some kind of buzzing sound.

Sebastian 5:17

What is this?

Sam 5:18

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 5:19

Um, I'm not entirely sure, but I'm pretty sure it's probably got something to do with... Hmm, maybe this is the power part of his, uh, his very special workshop?

Sam 5:30

They looked around.

Thingy Whopper 5:31

No replicator here, though, so we best be going.

Sam 5:34

As they went to try and find a door, they realised that the buzzing was going all around the room and there wasn't actually a door anymore.

Sebastian 5:42

Where did the door we came in through go?

Sam 5:44

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 5:46

Um, I'm not sure,

Sam 5:48

said Thingy Whopper.

Thingy Whopper 5:50

But we need to work out how to get out of here. Have you got any ideas?

Sebastian 5:54

Sam 5:54

said Sebastian.

Sebastian 5:55

I've- I've never been here before.

Thingy Whopper 5:57

Well, I've never run into this situation before, so I guess we can work together?

Sam 6:01

So, they looked at each other and they looked at the room.

Sebastian 6:04

Um, Thingy Whopper,

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 6:07

Yes, young Sebastian?

Sebastian 6:09

Do you notice that the buzzing seems to change a little bit in that little bit over there?

Sam 6:14

He pointed to one corner of the room where the buzzing did seem to change. It had a long buzz as it went around, and then when it got to the little section it seemed to buzz more excitedly.

Thingy Whopper 6:25

said Thingy Whopper.

Thingy Whopper 6:27

Let's go investigate.

The Replicator Guess

Sam 6:29

So Thingy Whopper and Sebastian went over to that corner. As they got closer, they could see that the buzzing was moving up and down and up and down, and it seemed to be almost forming a shape.

Sebastian 6:40

How do we work it?

Sam 6:41

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 6:42

I'm not too sure,

Sam 6:44

said Thingy Whopper.

Thingy Whopper 6:45

Maybe if I try touching it.

Sam 6:47

Thingy Whopper reached out his hand. Bzzz!

Thingy Whopper 6:49

Ooh!

Um, you probably shouldn't touch a buzzing thing that you don't understand,

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 6:56

No. My finger still feels ticklish. Um, I'm not quite sure what to do.

said Sebastian.

he said. And with that, the buzzing formed the shape of a door. And then a door appeared in the wall.

Thingy Whopper 7:13

You've done it! Hooray! Alright, let's continue.

Sam 7:16

So Thingy Whopper and Sebastian walked through the door, Thingy Whopper still holding the most incredible cupcake that he had ever seen. As they entered the next room, there was inventions everywhere. There was all kinds of strange machines and ray gun-looking things and everything that neither of them really understood.

Sebastian 7:37

So which one's the special replicator?

Sam 7:39

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 7:41

Well, I'm pretty sure that it might be, um...

Sam 7:44

Thingy Whopper looked around the room.

Thingy Whopper 7:46

Sam 7:47

he said, pointing at a very big, very elaborate-looking machine. They walked over towards it. There was certainly a section where it appeared that you could put something inside, and then there seemed to be some kind of rolly door on the end of it, and there was a big button that said start.

Thingy Whopper 8:04

It must be this one, I'm sure of it,

Sam 8:06

said Thingy Whopper.

Sebastian 8:07

Um, okay,

Sam 8:09

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 8:11

Let's place the cupcake inside the part where something seems to look like it should go.

Sam 8:16

So, they put the amazing-looking cupcake in the little hatch. Then they closed it. There was a little glass window that allowed them to see the cupcake inside. Then they looked.

Thingy Whopper 8:26

Would you like to do the honours?

Sam 8:28

said Thingy Whopper.

Sebastian 8:30

What do you mean?

Sam 8:30

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 8:31

Press the big start button, of course,

Sam 8:35

he said.

Um, okay,

said Sebastian. He walked over to the start button.

Sebastian 8:40

Are you sure Bonigo won't mind?

Thingy Whopper 8:42

Oh no, he will be happy. He will love it once we leave him one of these amazing-looking cupcakes. Go on, press the button,

Cupcakes Come Alive

Sam 8:48

said Thingy Whopper. So, Sebastian pressed the button. Baaarp! Doof-df-df dff-df-df dff-df-df dff-df-df! The machine started making all kinds of noises.

Thingy Whopper 9:00

It's working!

Sam 9:01

said Thingy Whopper. Then some kind of wobbly beam started to surround the cupcake inside the little cubicle. Ba-wa-wa-wa-wa-wa-wa-wa-wa!

Thingy Whopper 9:09

I think it's scanning,

Sam 9:10

said Thingy Whopper.

Sebastian 9:11

I hope it doesn't ruin my cupcake,

Sam 9:13

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 9:14

Me too,

Sam 9:14

said Thingy Whopper,

Thingy Whopper 9:16

but I'm sure it will work.

Sam 9:17

Then as the machine continued to make all kinds of strange noises, the door on the end of it opened up. Bzzht! Put-a put-a put-a put-a put-a put-a put-a put-a put! As they watched, cupcakes and cupcakes and cupcakes started to come out of a conveyor belt through the door.

Thingy Whopper 9:33

Hooray! We did guess the right one,

Sam 9:36

said Thingy Whopper.

Sebastian 9:37

Guess?

Sam 9:38

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 9:39

Well, I was sure that Bonigo would have some kind of replicating machine, and this looked a little bit replication-y.

Sebastian 9:47

Oh dear,

Sam 9:47

said Sebastian.

Sebastian 9:48

Are you sure it won't-

Sam 9:50

All of a sudden, one of the cupcakes that had come out of the roller door grew arms and legs and stood up.

Sebastian 9:57

Um, is that meant to happen?

Sam 9:59

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 10:00

Definitely not,

Sam 10:01

said Thingy Whopper. Then the cupcake pointed at Thingy Whopper.

Cupcake 10:05

There he is! Get him!

Sam 10:07

it yelled.

Thingy Whopper 10:08

What?

Sam 10:08

yelled Thingy Whopper. And then the cupcakes all started running straight towards Thingy Whopper.

Thingy Whopper 10:14

Run!

Sam 10:15

he yelled. Sebastian and Thingy Whopper started to run away as a crowd of cupcakes with arms and legs started chasing after them.

Sebastian 10:22

Thingy Whopper! I don't think this was a normal replicationing machine.

Bonigo Joins The Chaos

Thingy Whopper 10:27

Me either! We best be running as quickly as we can!

Sam 10:31

he yelled. So as the two of them started running around the room, trying to stay away from the cupcakes, the cupcakes started chasing them from every direction. And then they started getting into Bonigo's tools.

Cupcake 10:43

Here, boys, grab one of these!

Sam 10:44

The cupcake grabbed one of the tools out of Bonigo's tool bag and threw it straight towards Thingy Whopper.

Thingy Whopper 10:50

Whoa!

Sam 10:50

said Thingy Whopper, jumping out of the way.

Thingy Whopper 10:52

Oh dear, they seem to be collecting implements!

Cupcake 10:56

Here's some more! Let's go!

Sam 10:58

yelled one of the cupcakes as it started getting into a box of bolts and nuts. In no time at all, the cupcakes all had handfuls of bolts and nuts that they started throwing towards Thingy Whopper and Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 11:08

Hide!

Sam 11:09

yelled Thingy Whopper as he dove behind a different machine. He pulled Sebastian in behind him. Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun! made the sound of the machine as all the bolts and nuts started to hit it from the cupcakes that were throwing.

Cupcake 11:19

Come on, guys, let's work together. We can get them! Come on! Hooray!

Sam 11:23

As the cupcakes started running around the room, Thingy Whopper was very worried.

Tool Armour Activated

Thingy Whopper 11:27

I don't know what to do! Maybe we shouldn't have used Bonigo's machines without asking!

Sebastian 11:32

I don't think that was a good idea,

Sam 11:34

said Sebastian.

Sebastian 11:35

Um, I don't know what to do either.

Sam 11:37

Just then the door opened.

Bonigo 11:39

What is all that noise?

Sam 11:41

All of a sudden the cupcakes turned and looked to the door. There was a man with blue hair and a blue moustache wearing overalls.

Bonigo 11:48

Uh-oh. I think one of my machines has turned itself on!

Thingy Whopper 11:52

Um, Bonigo?

Bonigo 11:54

Who said that?

Thingy Whopper 11:55

Uh, me, Thingy Whopper,

Sam 11:57

said Thingy Whopper, one of his long arms stretching out from behind the machine and waving.

Thingy Whopper 12:01

I may have used one of the machines to try and replicate the most amazing cupcake that you have ever seen in your whole entire life. But I think I may have used the wrong one!

Cupcake 12:10

Hey, there's another guy! Let's get him too!

Sam 12:12

yelled one of the cupcakes, and the cupcakes started running towards Bonigo.

Bonigo 12:16

Oh dear! Ah, I think you have used the battle-iser replicla-capacitator!

Sebastian 12:22

The what?

Bonigo 12:23

Never mind, let's get them!

De-Battle-ising The Cupcakes

Sam 12:24

So Bonigo started running into the room. He dove behind machine after machine as the cupcakes were chasing him, until he got behind one that was very, very tiny and looked very, very strange.

Thingy Whopper 12:35

What's that one?

Sam 12:36

called out Thingy Whopper.

Bonigo 12:38

Trust me. I will press the button, and when I say go, jump into the air!

Sam 12:42

he yelled.

Sebastian 12:43

Um, okay,

Sam 12:44

said Sebastian.

Bonigo 12:45

One, two, three, go!

Sam 12:47

yelled Bonigo, and he pressed the button. Sebastian and Thingy Whopper jumped out from their hiding spot and leapt into the air. As they flew into the air, all of a sudden some kind of strange armour started to attach to their entire body. It was completely made out of tools.

Sebastian 13:03

I'm covered in spanners and screwdrivers and all kinds of things,

Sam 13:07

said Sebastian.

Thingy Whopper 13:08

Me too,

Sam 13:09

said Thingy Whopper.

Bonigo 13:10

Now get those cupcakes!

Apologies And First Bites

Sam 13:12

yelled Bonigo. Thingy Whopper and Sebastian looked at each other, gave an almighty high five, and then started chasing the cupcakes around the room. As they caught them one by one, they grabbed a hold of them. Their armour made them extra strong and extra stable. The cupcakes tried to knock them over, but they couldn't. And they grabbed them and they cuddled them as tight as they could.

Bonigo 13:32

Now throw them into this machine!

Sam 13:34

yelled Bonigo as he pressed start on another machine. It started making noise and it had a big hopper in the top where they could drop things in. So, Sebastian and Thingy Whopper started dropping the cupcakes into the top of it one by one. As they went through- Whaaaaaa! Zhoomfff! they came out the other side as a normal-looking cupcake.

Thingy Whopper 13:52

Hooray! It is working!

Sam 13:54

As they dumped in cupcake after cupcake after cupcake, they realised that now they had their replicated, amazing-looking world's best cupcake sitting right in front of them.

Thingy Whopper 14:05

said Thingy Whopper.

Sebastian 14:07

said Sebastian.

We did it!

yelled Bonigo.

That was fun. Ha ha!

So, Sebastian walked over to the chamber where the original cupcake was held, opened it up, and took a bite. The taste was so amazing it felt like his brain was almost going to explode with the joy of the most amazing flavours he had ever eaten.

Sebastian looked across, and there was Thingy Whopper, shovelling cupcake after cupcake after cupcake into his mouth.

Om! Yum! Om! Yum! Oh, these are amazing! Om! Om! Om!

In no time at all, all the replicated cupcakes were gone, and Sebastian and Thingy Whopper and Bonigo all laughed together.

Alright, Sebastian, it best be time I got you home. We've got a long journey to get you back there.
