Speaker 1:

One day, two little kids named Morgan and Beckett were sitting at their house. Now, as they were inside, they were trying to work out what to do for the day. We could play hide and seek again, said Morgan. We played hide and seek yesterday, said Beckett, and this morning. Oh yeah, what about? Maybe we could do some colouring in, said Beckett. Well, we've run out of colouring in pages, said Morgan.

Speaker 1:

Hmm, as they sat and thought, all of a sudden they could hear a noise outside. What was that, said Morgan. I don't know, said Beckett, let's go look. They raced over to the window to see what was happening. When they got there, they saw outside their window was some kind of strange looking track. It was made out of wood and kind of looked like a train track, but a little bit different. What is it, said Morgan, I don't know, said Beckett. As they looked, they could hear something coming towards them. Is that a roller coaster? Said Morgan. I think it is, said Beckett.

Speaker 1:

As they were looking, the roller coaster came down one of the big steep bits and then up another bit and then down another bit, and then stopped right in front of their house. There was no one on the roller coaster, except for one funny looking wizard, bonfrey Bonfrey, bonfrey, bonfrey. Said the wizard in the front seat Bomfrey, bomfrey, bomfrey. Said the wizard in the front seat, um, is that your name? Yes, I am Bomfrey. Said Bomfrey, um, bomfrey, why is there a roller coaster outside of our house? Because it is Bomfrey's roller coaster. Where did it come from? Said Morgan. Well, I don't actually know, I was trying to do a magic trick, but instead a roller coaster appeared. I thought Bonfrey needs a roller coaster. Bonfrey, bonfrey, bonfrey. Well, that sounds like fun. Said Beckett, enjoy your roller coaster. No, said Bonfrey, I can't have the roller coaster, just me. What, said Morgan. Yes, you need to come on the roller coaster. Bonfrey, bonfrey, bonfrey, okay, said the Um, I guess that will be a fun game for the day.

Speaker 1:

So the kids climbed out of their window because all of a sudden there was some kind of platform that led over to the roller coaster. Where does it all keep coming from? Said Beckett. Magic, said Bonfrey, you can do magic, said Morgan. Yes, bonfrey can do lots of Bonfrey magic. What's Bonfrey magic? Said Morgan. Yes, bonfrey can do lots of Bonfrey magic. What's Bonfrey magic? Said Beckett. Well, bonfrey magic is the kind of magic that's a little bit Bonfrey. What do you mean by that? Oh, never mind, bonfrey, bonfrey. Bonfrey, said Bonfrey. Okay, said the kids. Where do we sit Up the front with me, said Bonfrey. Okay, said the kids. So they jumped into the roller coaster and there was three seats at the very front. Okay, said Bonfrey, here comes the barrier. The barrier as they were sitting, a bar came down over the top of them and locked them into position. I suggest you hold on, because Bonfrey, bonfrey, bonfrey said Bonfrey, that doesn't make sense, said Morgan.

Speaker 1:

All of a sudden, the roller coaster took off at full speed, said the kids, as the roller coaster went up and down, and up and down, and around and around and around, and then all of a sudden it stopped. Where are we? Said Morgan. Next stop, said Bomfrey, next stop. They said they looked around. We're at some kind of carnival. How did we get here? Magic, said Bonfrey, come on, bonfrey, bonfrey, bonfrey.

Speaker 1:

They climbed off the roller coaster. What do we do now? Let's play at the carnival. Bonfrey, bonfrey, bonfrey likes to play at carnivals, said Bonfrey. Okay, said the kids. So they climbed off the roller coaster and started to go.

Speaker 1:

Look around, this carnival was very amazing. Where are we? Well, said Bonfrey, I don't know. But let's go see Bonfrey. Bonfrey, bonfrey, I am Bonfrey. He said we know that you're Bonfrey. Yes, I am Bonfrey, said Bonfrey. Oh dear, said Morgan. Well, let's go see what's around here.

Speaker 1:

They went around and they could see there was lots of different rides with all kinds of different things. Um, what ride do you want to do, bonfrey? Um, I am Bonfrey, said Bonfrey. We know you're Bonfrey, said Beckett. But what ride do you want to do? Oh, I guess you kids can choose, because Bonfrey doesn't know which ride Bonfrey would like to Bonfrey. Oh dear, said the kids, this guy doesn't make a lot of. At the other end was some kind of big spinny wheel, but not like a normal ferris wheel. It seemed to have other little wheels that spun around on the inside. Oh, bonfrey likes that one. Let's go, let's go.

Speaker 1:

They raced over and there was a very big line. Oh, this could be a long wait, said Beckett. Oh, not with Bonfrey, said Bonfrey. He held a wand over his head and began to wave it as he did. All of a sudden everyone in the line lifted up into the air. Hey, what's happening? Said one of the kids. I've been waiting for an hour, said one of the men at the front, but they all got carried off in a different direction. Where are you sending them, said Morgan. Some of them have been waiting for a long time. Well, I'm giving them the Bonfrey roller coaster ride what? But how do we know where it will send them? Um, hopefully it will bring them back. Hopefully, said Beckett.

Speaker 1:

Before they knew, all the people that were in the line in front of them were on the Bonfrey roller coaster. Then the Bonfrey roller coaster took off and the people disappeared. Oh, dear Bonfrey, what do we do now? Just wait, said Bonfrey, as he started walking towards the front of the line. He walked through and climbed onto the big spinny wheel. Um, are you sure this is a good idea? Yes, because I am Bonfrey. What about all the people? Said Morgan, don't worry, bonfrey will make sure that they all come back. Uh, okay, said the kids. So they climbed onto the seats of the big spinny spinny wheel.

Speaker 1:

Um, where did all the other people go, said the man running the ride. Um, they went to Bonfrey's, to Bonfrey's, said the man. What do you mean? They went to Bonfrey's? Never mind, said Bonfrey. Spin the sprinter. He said Ah, okay, said the man.

Speaker 1:

So, as the kids and Bonfrey, put on their buckles and sat down in the seats. The man turned it on and it started to spin. The big one around the outside would spin quite slowly, but all the little ones around the inside were spinning even quicker. Wow, this is lots of fun, said Morgan. Yeah, said Beckett, I like this one. Um, I think it could use more Bonfrey, said Bonfrey. More Bonfrey, said the kids. What do you mean? Let's go.

Speaker 1:

He waved his wand and as he did, the spinner that they were on started to spin away from the big spinner. Then it started to rotate the other direction as well. Hooray, said Pomfrey. Yippee, the kids were having so much fun. Are you, kids hungry, said Pomfrey. Um, a little bit, said Morgan. He waved his wand again and the spinny spinner that was spinning through the sky over the top of the carnival spun past some of the food stalls and as it it did, bits of food got sucked up towards where the kids were. Oh fairy floss, said morgan. Oh a corn dog, said beckett. They started to eat and as they flew over the carnival, more and more food flew straight towards them. It was very funny, as they were spinning around on a spinning wheel and all the food from the carnival was getting sucked from every direction and the kids were able to try all the different things and then, as they were eating and spinning and twirling, it slowly moved back to where it was meant to be and clicked back into the big spinning wheel and slowed down.

Speaker 1:

The man at the front was very confused. How did you do that? He said haha, I am bonfrey. Said bonfrey, now to return the bonfrey people from the Bonfrey roller coaster. What said the kids? As they were looking, the Bonfrey roller coaster appeared out of nowhere and zoomed straight back to right where the line was. The people were still in the exact same order and they climbed out.

Speaker 1:

That was the best roller coaster ever, said one of the little boys. I'm glad I didn't have to wait for that one. Said the man that was so good. Oh, and look, we're back in the line. They were all so excited. That was actually quite kind, said Morgan. Yeah, said Beckett, thanks, bonfrey. Yes, I am Bonfrey, bonfrey, bonfrey. But now we best get on the Bonfrey roller coaster. Um, okay, said the kids, and Bonfrey climbed back into the Bonfrey roller coaster. A few other people tried to climb on as well, but Bonfrey waved his wand and stopped them from being able to get in. Oh, I wanted to turn to that one. That seemed like fun.

Speaker 1:

Not this time, said Bonfrey, or else you might end up somewhere else. Ready, three, two, bonfrey. Said Bonfrey, and he waved his wand and the roller coaster took off once more. As the roller coaster was flying around, the kids decided that they'd put their hands up in the air this time. As they did, they could feel tingling all around their fingers. What's that tingly feeling? Said Beckett. Well, said Bonfrey, we are moving through time and space very, very quickly. Did you say time? Said Morgan. Yes, bonfrey, bonfrey. Ready, three, two, one, bonfrey.

Speaker 1:

The rollercoaster stopped and the kids looked around. Um, where are we, bomfrey? Everything was quite still, Everything was quite quiet. And then, all of a sudden, they could hear some voices For King and Country charge and they saw an army running straight towards them with swords and shields held high. Uh-oh, said Morgan, they're coming straight for us. Uh-oh, bonfrey, they looked across to their other side and there's another army over there, said Beckett. Uh-oh, the two armies were running straight towards each other. What do we do, said Morgan. Um, rollercoaster, said Bonfrey. What, what do you mean?

Speaker 1:

Rollercoaster, as the two armies got closer and closer and closer, bonfrey started to wave his wand. And closer and closer, bonfrey started to wave his wand. And there was two waiting areas on either side of the roller coaster. The roller coaster seemed to divide the entire battlefield right down the middle. When the armies got to the middle they didn't really know what to do. Um, what do we do now, sir? I don't know, said the man leading one side of the army. The other side was very confused too.

Speaker 1:

Everybody lining up onto the roller coaster said Bonfrey, as he stood up on top of the roller coaster and waved his wand. They looked and the roller coaster had got longer and longer and longer and longer. The people didn't know what to do. They slowly climbed onto the roller coaster and sat down. Some of one army was sitting next to the other army and the other army was sitting there as well. And they looked at each other very confused, not quite sure what to do. Okay, hold on, because it's pomfrey time, said pomfrey. What's pomfrey time? Said one of the men you'll see, said morgan, and with that the roller coaster took off at full speed, screamed all the army men that were on the roller coaster.

Speaker 1:

The roller coaster this time was going even faster than before. But it didn't go anywhere outside of the battlefield, it just did swirls and twirls all around the inside, until it spun around that many times that all the people were starting to feel dizzy. I feel sick, said one of the men, me too, said another. This is amazing, said Beckett, I love it, said Morgan. And it slowed down and stopped back where it had started.

Speaker 1:

All the army people climbed off either side. They were so nauseous they weren't ready to fight anymore. Um, I declare this battle finished and nobody has to fight. And let's all run away, called one of the leaders. Yes, let's all go. Called the other leaders. And they ran off in different directions. Did we just stop a battle? Said Beckett. Aha, bonfrey, bonfrey, all right time for Bonfrey, said Bomfrey.

Speaker 1:

And the roller coaster took off once more. This time it zoomed, but not as quick, it was a little bit more comfortable. And then it started to slow down and it felt like it was going higher and higher and higher and higher. What's happening, said Morgan. Well, said Bomfrey.

Speaker 1:

Every good roller coaster needs several hundred loop-de-loops. Several hundred loop-de-loops, several hundred loop-de-loops, said Beckett. Yes, and for several hundred loop-de-loops you need very Bomfrey height. Bomfrey, what's Bomfrey height, said Morgan, higher than high, bomfrey. Uh-oh, said the kids. I think that could be a little bit. Here we are, we're at the top, say Bomfrey. Bye, yelled the kids as the roller coaster started flying down the steepest descent that they could have imagined.

Speaker 1:

Then they hit the first of the loop-de-loops Wow. Then the second, wow, then the third, wow. And then it just kept going on and on and on, wow, so quick that the kids were almost falling out of their seats. Bonfrey, this is amazing, they yelled. They were having so much fun. Hooray for Bonfrey, bonfrey, bonfrey, bonfrey, bonfrey, yelled Bonfrey.

Speaker 1:

The rollercoaster continued until it slowly slowed down and stopped. Hey, we're back at our house, said Morgan. Hooray, said Beckett, yes, this has been very Bonfrey. I think I will leave a very special roller coaster. Stop here, leave a roller coaster, stop here. Yes, so if you ever need something to play with, you can just call out for the roller coaster and it will come pick you up. Really, said the kids. Really said Bonfrey, but I best be going, I need to go home for dinner. Okay, I'll see you later. Bye-bye, bye-bye, bye-bye, bye-bye, bye-bye, bye-bye, bye-bye. Bonfrey, bonfrey, bonfrey, bonfrey, said Bonfrey, bye, said the kids. They waved as the roller coaster took off and Bonfrey disappeared. Just then their mum came into the room. Um, kids, did you just see a roller coaster flying off into the sky? What happened there? Well, said the kids, we don't think you'd believe us, even if we told you. And that is the end of the story.
