OK… Let’s Go!
One day, three kids named Finn, rory and Declan were all going out to the shops. Now they had to go to the grocery shop to be able to get some food and some milk and some bread and all the normal things. As they were walking into the shopping centre, they saw something out the corner of their eye. Um Finn, did you just see that? Said Rory. I think so, said Finn. Was that a tiger? Don't be silly, said their mummy. There's not a tiger at the shopping centre. I'm pretty sure I saw it too, said Declan. It ran over behind those bushes. All right, said their mummy. Well, I've got to go into this shop. You boys can go have a look and see what you find. Okay, said the boys. So the three boys went over towards the plant where they had seen the tiger trying to hide. When they got there, sure enough, there was a little tiger standing behind the plant. Um hello, said Finn. Who are you? My name's Tiger Pal, said Tiger Pal. Um, what are you doing here, said Rory.
Speaker 1:Well, I'm working on a brand new lolly because I want to start a lolly shop. But to start a lolly shop you need a very cool signature lolly. Um, that sounds like a good idea, said Declan. Yeah, it's a great idea. I thought of it all by myself, but I just can't work out the best way to make the best kind of lolly. Hey, you're kids, do you like lollies? Um, yes, said the boys. We do. Hooray. Well, do you think you could help me work out how to make the best kind of lolly ever, said Tiger Pal. Um, sure, said the kids. Why not Hooray, said Tiger Pal. Well, I've got an idea. So I thought maybe, rather than make a normal tasting lolly, we could collect all kinds of amazing flavours and put it all into one, so it's the most amazing tasting lolly in the whole entire world. What do you think? Um, it sounds good, said the boys. But how are we going to do that With this, said Tiger Pal.
Speaker 1:The kids looked up and Tiger Pal was holding something very strange looking. What is that, said Rory. It is a taste collector, said Tiger Power. A taste collector, said Declan. How does that work? Well, you find something yummy, and then you put the taste collector over the top of it and you press the button, and then these tiny little things. Well, I guess it's best. I just show you. But we need to find something tasty first. Um okay, said the kids. Let's go find something tasty. I'm sure we can find something around here. No, not around here, we need the best tasting things from all around the world. How are we going to get all around the world, said the kids. Aha, that's why I have this invention, said Tiger Pal. Where did you get all around the world, said the kids. Aha, that's why I have this invention, said Tiger Pal. Where did you get all these? Said the kids. Oh, I've got a friend named Benigo. He's really good at inventing and he made them all for me. This is a very special teleportation device. We need to be very careful with it, though, but it can get us to all the places to get the most amazing tasting things ever. Ah, okay, said the kids, I think we should do it. Hooray, said Tiger Pal, let's go.
Speaker 1:Tiger Pal pulled out the teleportation device. The kids looked at it carefully. It kind of looked like a very old radio. How does this one work? Oh well, I'm not too sure, but I think you kind of just twist this one and do this one, and then you hold on to this, and as Tiger Power pressed the last button, some funny music started coming out. That's cool, said the kids, as they started to jiggle a little bit to the music, as they did. Whoa, I'm dissolving, said Rory. Me too, said Finn. I think it's working, said Tiger Power, keep dancing.
Speaker 1:So Finn, rory and Declan all kept dancing to the strange music, and Tiger Power did too, and in no time at all they dissolved and disappeared. When they reappeared, they found themselves in some kind of amazing looking bakery. Where are we? Said Rory. I don't know, said Finn. Me either, said Declan. Where did you children come from? Said the man standing behind the counter. Um, we were at the shops and we danced to a funny teleportation device. And now we're here.
Speaker 1:Yeah, have you got anything yummy? Said Tiger Pal. Oh, yes, I do have very yummy things here. I hope that you like some of them. Let me have a look, he said. He went over behind into the cabinet where there were all kinds of delicious looking cakes and all kinds of amazing looking pastries.
Speaker 1:I think we're in a French patisserie. A French patisserie, said Rory. What's that? I don't know, but the food looks good. What's your best, most amazing tasting thing in the whole entire place? Well, it is definitely the very, very amazing French macaron.
Speaker 1:The French macaron. What is oh, is that one of those cool-looking biscuits over there? It is not a biscuit, it is a French macaron, and it is so tasty. Oh, I just smell. He brought it out and put it in front of the kids' noses. They all had a sniff. That smells amazing, incredible. So many flavours. Perfect, said Tiger Power.
Speaker 1:He pulled out the taste collector and hovered it over the top. Do you mind if I make a lolly that's partly inspired by your French macaron? Oh, oui, oui, said the man. Did he just say oui? Oui, said Rory, I think that's French for yes, said Declan. Oh, okay, so Tiger Pal held the taste collector over the top, and out of the taste collector came what looked like tiny little hands that started to grab tiny little bits of the macaron. What is happening, said Finn? Don't ask questions, just trust the process, said Tiger Pal. In no time at all, the little hands had collected tiny little pieces of the French macaron and then they had smoothed it back over so it looked like it had never been touched. Thank you very much, mr Frenchman. We really appreciate you sharing. Oh, any time, said the man behind the counter, and with that the kids set up the teleportation device and started pressing the buttons once more. Oh, that is very good music. Make sure you don't dance, though. Why is that? Said the man as he was watching the kids and Tiger Power danced and they all dissolved and disappeared. Oh mon dieu.
Speaker 1:As the kids reappeared in a new location, they looked around. Where are we? Said Tiger Power. Um, they were in some kind of big bustling bazaar. It was amazing. It was like a market, but everything was very bright and happy and noisy.
Speaker 1:I think I think we might be in Turkey, said Rory, in Turkey. I don't think it's a good idea to go inside the turkey. You might get caught inside its tummy or something, not inside a turkey, said Declan, the country turkey I know, said Finn, we're here for Turkish delight. What is Turkish delight? It is delicious, said the kids. Let's go look. They started looking around the stores until they found a man selling some Turkish delight. It's here. It's here, okay, excuse me, mr Shopkeeper. Yeah, you Can we sample your Turkish delight for our very special lolly? Tabii ki neden olmasın. Thank you, said Tiger Pell. What did he say, said the kids. Ah well, I asked if I could sample it and he said sure, why not so quick, let's do it. They put the taste collector over the top of the Turkish delight and the tiny little hands came pouring out and grabbing tiny little bits of the Turkish delight once more. All right, kids, we need more flavours quick, we need lots of them.
Speaker 1:So the kids and Tiger Power began to dance once more to the teleportation device and they dissolved once again. This time, when they appeared, they were inside some kind of very amazing chocolatierie. Look at all the chocolate. He could not resist. We need to sample them all. Quick grab him, yelled the kids. But Tiger Power was far too excited because he had been trying little bits of all the sweet things that they had seen so far. And I think Tiger Power was on a little bit of a sugar rush. He ran the taste collector over all the chocolates and it grabbed tiny little bits. Then he started the teleportation device once more. Quick dance so that we can keep up with him, yelled Rory. Okay, yelled the boys.
Speaker 1:They started dancing and they disappeared again when they reappeared, this time they were in an ice cream shop. Ice cream, yelled Tiger. Pal, let's sample them all. Ice cream and lollies will be the best. He started racing the taste collector over all the different ice creams Sorry, yelled the best. He started racing the taste collector over all the different ice creams. Sorry, yelled the boys, don't worry, said the man at the ice cream shop. We know Tiger Pal. Tiger Pal kept sampling all the different bits, a little bit for the taste collector and a little bit for him. He's eating too much sugar. How are we going to stop him? You can't stop me. Next location, yelled Tiger Pal as he started pressing the buttons on the teleportation device. Once more, quick dance, yelled the kids. They danced and dissolved and disappeared and reappeared at a new location.
Speaker 1:This time they appeared at a carnival. Where are we, said Finn. Hey, look at that carousel over there. It seems to be doing all kinds of ridiculous. Not about the carousel, let's go to the fairy floss, yelled Tiger Pau, racing off towards the food area of the carnival. Chase him, yelled the boys. They raced through as they saw Tiger Pau dive into the middle of the fairy floss machine. It was spinning all kinds of fairy floss and all of a sudden Tiger Pau had some kind of strange fairy floss hairdo and big fairy floss arms. Look at me, I'm fairy floss man, yelled Tiger Pau as he jumped out completely covered in fairy floss. He looked like a giant, squishy bit of pink fluffiness. And as he started running around dancing and giggling, the boys could not help but laugh and laugh and laugh. Hang on, I gotta sample it, said Tiger Pal. He waved the taste collector over the top of the fairy floss that was all over his arms and it collected more and more. Right, one more place, said Tiger Pau. I'm going to do my fairy floss dance this time. Quick, said the boys catch up to him. As they raced over, tiger Pau pressed the buttons one more time and then they all started to dance.
Speaker 1:When they appeared in the new location, tiger Pau was still completely covered in fairy floss and he kept eating bits off his arm. Yum yum, oh yum, tasty. Yum yum. Tiger Pau, don't You're eating too much sugar. It's not going to be good for you. Don't worry, I'm a. I think I'm made for this, said Tiger Pau. See, I'm covered in fairy floss. Ha, the boys raced over. Can we try? I don't see why not, said Rory. So they each pinched a little bit of the fairy floss off.
Speaker 1:Tiger Power, it was delicious. But where are we? Said Finn, right, we're in the best location of all. Are you ready? The kids looked around. We're in some kind of field, said Declan. Yeah, said Rory, there's like all kinds of. I think it's it's a berry farm, said Tiger Power. Good idea, said Finn, let's add some berry flavour. There's lots of different ones here. I'm going to get the blackberries first.
Speaker 1:Tiger Power raced off into the berries and started collecting, bit after bit, with the taste collector. He collected some blackberries, some strawberries, some blueberries, some raspberries, some cranberries, some gooseberries, some boysenberry, loganberry, elderberry, huckleberry, all kinds of berries. Hooray, said Tiger Pal, it's berry fight time Berry fight, said the boys. What are you talking about? Tiger Pal started picking up berries and throwing them at the kids. What are you doing, tiger, said Declan, as he jumped out the way he's throwing berries. Maybe we should try and hit him with some berries to slow him down. Good idea, said Rory. So the boys started collecting some berries and throwing them back at Tiger Pal. Hey, said Tiger Pal, you got me. That was pretty funny.
Speaker 1:As the boys continued to throw berries at him, it became a very ridiculous look because a fairy floss covered little tiger that was now covered in all kinds of splattered berries was now laying on the ground grabbing his tummy. Do you think he's okay, said Declan. I hope so said Finn, let's go check. The boys went over. Are you okay, tiger Pal? I think I ate too much sugar. Oh, my tummy? All right, said the boys. We better get you back to the shopping centre so that you can finish off your lolly. All right, said Tiger Pal, still grabbing his tummy. I'll press the button, said Finn. So Finn started pressing the buttons on the teleportation device. I don't think I can dance, said Tiger Pau, don't worry, said the boys, we'll help you. So the boys did the dancing and they held Tiger Power and helped him to dance as well. And as they dissolved and reappeared, they were back at the shopping centre.
Speaker 1:All right, tiger Power, have you got everything you need for your lolly? I think I've got too many things, but let's try. Tiger Power took them into a very special storeroom at the back of the shopping centre and inside there was a very big machine. Okay, tiger Power, I think it is ready. Have you collected all the things? Who's that, said Finn? That's my friend, benigo. Hey, benigo, do you have something that can help a sore stomach? Tiger Pal, did you eat too much of the sugar? Um, yes, I told you not to eat it, just to collect it, I know, but I couldn't resist. And what are you covered in? Um, berry, floss and berries. Okay, show me what you've got, said Benigo. So Tiger Power handed the taste collector across to Benigo. Okay, let's put it all in the machine.
Speaker 1:Benigo put the taste collector into the side of the machine and all the different tastes all went in. As it did, tiny little lollies came popping out the other side. Okay, boys, would you like to try? Um, okay, said the boys. Me too, said Tiger Pal. Tiger Pal, you have had too much sugar.
Speaker 1:So the boys each popped one of the lollies in their mouth. Yuck, what is this? Said Declan. It tastes so strange, said Rory. Yeah, said Finn, it doesn't taste right at all. Meow, said Tigerpaw, tigerpaw, what did you collect?
Speaker 1:Tigerpaw started telling Benigo all the different things he'd collected. Tigerpaw, that is way too many things that will not work for our very special lolly. What are we going to do, said the boys? I don't know, I'm not going to be able to make any yummy lollies. That's when Benigo had a good look at Tiger Power. Hmm, he said, looking at the fairy floss and berries splattered all over Tiger Power, this might work. He collected the fairy floss and rolled it up into a ball collecting all the berries as well. Then he put it into the machine.
Speaker 1:As the machine started putting out some pink little round lollies, benigo picked one up. He had a smell. I think this will work. Here you go, boys. The boys all took one. Thank you, benigo, they said as they popped it into their mouth. It's amazing.
Speaker 1:They said Berry, fairy, floss lollies this is incredible, said Rory. Yes, said Declan, it's my new favourite lolly ever. We did it, said Tiger Pal, hooray. Well done, kids, you have saved the day and saved Tiger Pal's lolly shop. Okay, tiger Pal, we better get to work and we better go find our mum, said the boys. See you later. Tiger Pal. Bye. Benigo, called out the boys. Goodbye, see you later. Tiger Pal, bye. Benigo, called out the boys. Goodbye, boys, goodbye. I don't think I'm going to be able to eat sugar for a month, or maybe just a little bit. Where are those other lollies? No, tiger Pal, said Benigo. As he watched Tiger Pal racing over to the other lollies, trying to put them all in his mouth, the kids laughed and as they stepped back through the door, their mum was just coming out of the supermarket. Well, boys, did you have fun? Did you find that tiger. She said Well, they said we don't think you'd believe us, even if we told you. And that is the end of the story.
Speaker 1:This episode's brought to you by Tiger Pals Lolli Shop. We only have one lolly so far, but pretty soon we'll have a whole bunch for a whole big lolli shop. It'll be really, really fun. Make sure that you come. We hope you've been enjoying the silly stories for kids with me. Tiger Pal yeah, it's been me. I hope it's been fun. Okay, I better go make some more lollis. I'll see you soon. This has been me.
